Magura will always be part of
my soeul, because is one of the few places where I found my peace of
mind, comfort and I managed to rest. Here I had unique moments,
woderful landscapes, welcoming, warm and smilling people. The village
is located between mountains at hight altitude, part of town Moeciu,
Brasov county, you can go by car –I recommend off-road vehicle-
the road is full of serpentines and hardly practicable. When you will
arrive you'll be charmed by the natural landscapes, wooden houses
whose carts
are smoldering and deep silence. We've been there for the New Years
Eve and we had the joy to see children dressed in folk attire
wandering every home and guest house. The guests received us with
warm food, cherry brandy and prepared fireplace. In our room we
hadn't tv and sincerily I was happy about it because I wished : to
disconnect from civilization.

Who says that you have nothing to do in
such a quiet village is wrong. We walked at least 5 km 'til Piatra
Craiului Natural Park whose beauty charmed us. On the way we found
out that there is a single store not well stocked named “La
Ciocolata”. We also went for sleigh rides pulled by car, one of my
favorite things to do :D. We hope we will be back soon in summer
time. I recommend you from my soeul this little fairy tale village!
