WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR A WEEKEND-BREAK IN BUCHAREST THE CAPITAL OF ROMANIA?

A lot! :)
I define Bucharest a city of contrasts. There are so many things to do here: visiting museums, old churches, archaeological sites, trying restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping in the malls, sports, walking in the old city center or relaxing in the parks.
I will teach you how you can manage to do those things in 2 days weekend-break.
In the first day a long walk in the old city center is a must. You can admire People's House (Palace of the Parliament), the biggest and expensive administrative building in the world, for reservation, price and vissiting hours check http://www.cdep.ro/pls/cic/site.visits?idv=2 .Then go on the narrow streets where the restaurants, bars and clubs are to see the old houses, old churches and the impressive archaeological sites.
If you want to try traditional food you should go to Caru' cu Bere Restaurant, located there and you should eat ''belly soup'' at 3 euro/person and Caru' cu Bere Plateau at 15 euro/2 persons, it is a must! They have artistic program every evening. A reservation is needed 1 day before arriving.
You can find it all on their website:

After the walk you should go to see one of the most beautiful libraryes in the world, Carturesti Library and drink a coffe or a tea there.
If you are a club lover or you want to make new friends you can go in Old City Club or in Drunken Lords Club all situated in the old city center.

Second day you should relax in the park as Park Tineretului which is near the city center by renting a bike or if you are a shopaholic you can go in one of the malls and spend all your money :)) or you can jump with the parashute on Clinceni Aerodrom near Bucharest, at a price of 207 euro/person/jump+video.
